How do I join Ashburne Glen Homeowners Association?

Any purchaser of a house or lot in Ashburne Glen automatically becomes a member of AGHOA, Inc. upon ‘closing’. Only the current owner of a house or lot in Ashburne Glen subdivision can be a member of AGHOA, Inc. and only current AGHOA, Inc. members have voting rights (one vote per lot) and participation rights. For full details, see the HOA Legal Docs page.

How much does membership cost?

AGHOA, Inc. membership dues are currently $225 per lot, per year. This is collected annually and due before March 15th of each year.  If not paid before March 15th of each year a fine of $50.00 each month that these fees are late.  Dues are mandatory and are subject to change, depending on the needs of the HOA. Membership dues remain the responsibility of the lot owner, whether or not they currently reside in Ashburne Glen. If necessary, the HOA will make arrangements to collect membership dues from an owner or their agent. Any additional costs or fees involved in collecting unpaid dues will be passed on to the lot owner.

What do my annual AGHOA Inc. membership dues pay for?

Membership dues cover the general operation and administrative costs of AGHOA Inc. The HOA pays for the landscaping and maintenance of all common areas including the ‘seasonal color’; tree planting and maintenance; mowing, trimming, and weeding the grass; and also water and power supplied to common areas. Dues are also used for the purchase, installation and upkeep of special projects designed to enhance and improve the subdivision, such as our custom street signs. The dues also cover, or contribute to, the cost of HOA events which are held occasionally within the neighborhood and the annual meeting expenses.

How often does the HOA meet?

Under the requirements of the Bylaws, the HOA membership meets once each year in January. There may be other occasional meetings and events held by arrangement and with advance notice, depending on the HOA’s needs. AGHOA Inc. directors, officers and committees meet from time to time throughout the year to conduct HOA business.

How can I participate in the activities of the HOA?

The directors and officers of the HOA encourage and welcome involvement from all members. You may serve as an officer (upon election); join us as a member of one of the standing committees; or simply help out at, or attend, neighborhood events. Even if none of this appeals to you it’s very important that all HOA members play their part in the HOA by keeping all aspects of their lot properly maintained so that we remain a beautiful and desirable subdivision.

I need to report an HOA C&R or bylaw violation, how do I do that?

The report must include your contact information and specific details of the violation, including what, when, where and how often the alleged violation occurred.
